MEDITATION TRAINING
Experience the timeless wisdom of meditation and mindfulness in this transformative weekend training at Wild Root. Open to all levels, this program welcomes anyone seeking to explore or deepen their meditation practice in a supportive and inspiring environment. Yoga teachers will also gain valuable tools to share with their students, enriching their teaching repertoire and class offerings.
This enriching program is led by Anthony Conard, M.A. (Dharmadas), a Kripalu-certified teacher and lifelong student of yoga and meditation. Anthony's extensive background uniquely combines academic expertise and spiritual practice :

Anthropology Expertise : Anthony earned a master's degree in anthropology from the University of Cincinnati in 1985 and taught as an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College. His academic interests focus on the history and philosophy of yoga, adding rich cultural and historical depth to his teaching.

Kripalu Lineage : Anthony's yoga journey began at the world-renowned Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health​, where he lived as an ashram resident and was formally initiated as a disciple of Yogi Amrit Desai in 1986. In this lineage, he received the Sanskrit name Dharmadas, meaning "servant of the dharma."

Thai Yoga Massage : Certified in 2007 by Kam Thye Chow, founder of Lotus Palm School, Anthony is an NCBTMB Approved Provider and the owner and director of Om Yoga Studio & School of Thai Massage.

Anthony's Philosophy : "Breathe, Relax, Feel, Watch, and Allow ... These simple steps open the doorway to the present moment. Through self-observation without judgment, we access the stretching and strengthening of the body and the calming of the mind."
